WCMF Tribute Ride Will Honor
Fallen Soldiers from the State of Oregon

( December 1, 2010 - Brownsville, Oregon )
The Willamette Country Music Festival Presented by Bi-Mart announced today that country star Rockie Lynne will be the exclusive celebrity host and lead rider of the 1st annual Oregon "Tribute to Fallen Soldiers" celebrity motorcycle ride next August 19th.   The ride is scheduled as part of the 3rd Annual Willamette Country Music Festival which takes place August 20th, 21st & 22nd, 2010 in Brownsville, Oregon.

The "Tribute to Fallen Soldiers" motorcycle ride is a single day event created to honor the families of fallen soldiers.     The ride begins at a specific starting point in the Willamette Valley and travels on a pre-determined route and makes scheduled stops at the family homes of fallen soldiers to pay homage to sons and daughters who have paid the ultimate sacrifice of giving their life in service of their country.  The predominant purpose of this ride is to graciously acknowledge to family members left behind that we as caring Americans will never forget the sacrifice given of loved ones lost.    Country star Rockie Lynne who hosts the ride meets each family and presents them with an exclusive plaque honoring their son or daughter for their sacrifice.   This past Labor Day marked the 6th year of the "Tribute to Fallen Soldiers" ride which was originally created by Rockie Lynne in his home state of Minnesota.
